I am originally from Bonn, Germany where I spent all my life until 5 years ago when I moved to Britain. I also lived in sunny California for a year in between. As an expat you can’t help but notice all these slight and big differences between the countries, cultures and languages you are more or less familiar with. I will write about some of those differences and my life as an expat in general in this blog.

Hey man,
This is rather funny! I am your contra ego. I am from the States and am studying at Bonn for a semester. I started my blog with the intention of using the clever title “bonnvoyage” but it appears someone beat me to it! So now I had to insert an English article “a” in front of the title.
